Wooo, I didn’t really get any major questions this month (odd, given it is October), but either way, woo.

I didn’t do a The Arts! Samhain Edition because I haven’t seen anything good as it pertains to Paganism. It’s been like that for a while.

Tomorrow, I will be doing a keynote speech at Dawtas of the Moon at 6 PM EST. Possibly on FB Live, if not Insta (@thisblackwitch). This also depends on if my tech doesn’t crap out on me. I won’t be able to make the Meet and Greet today (and looking like I may not make it at all since the burial of Rep. Elijah Cummings is today – fun fact: he went to my high school, City).

On Halloween/Samhain itself, I am going to have a live feed at 7 PM EST on FB Live. I do this every year :3

Also, I haven’t said this already:

a) make sure to keep pets indoors, they go missing for nefarious reasons around this time of year – especially black cats

b ) If you plan on dabbling in magick, don’t. And do not involve animals. It’s abuse, not magick. Just watch Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin or The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror instead. They’re classics.

I’m pushing these two questions together because they pretty much on the same track

Hello! I would like to start getting into and educating myself on African religions, spirituality, and witchcraft but I don’t know where to start. Every book or article I come across is just giving me the whitewashed versions of what I’m looking for. Honestly, idk what I’m looking for. I live in New Orleans so I have the resources that I need I just don’t know what’s the real thing and where I could get it from. Can you help me out? Thanks in advance!

So I recently decided to make the jump and start practicing Paganism, but I have absolutely no idea about how or where to start. I feel as though this (Paganism) is the path I need to take to finally come into my own. I would honestly love it if I could find some kind of person with a first hand experience with the craft to give me a better understanding of what all of this entails. Any recommendations?

Firstly, for the person who lives in New Orleans:

  1. Walk into any Black owned/Black staffed metaphysical shop.
  2. Skim the books available
  3. Bug anyone who looks like you with questions
  4. Wash, rinse, repeat

Onwards with the rest of the answer:

Now, it comes as no surprise to pretty much anyone that Western Paganism bears a very, very White face. Even on cultures that are extremely non-White or exist as a result of the horrors of European-based colonialism (examples: Voodun and Hoodoo, Santeria and Buddhism). It’s a major problem and one that is deftly ignored or responded to with pandering, patronizing lip service – if not met with declarations that, for some stupid reason, acknowledging that division exists and is quite pervasive “is divisive”. White Pagans like to steal from other cultures for the “Otherness” and to Whitewash them as if it was always theirs. That’s going to create conflict, whether they like to note it or not , given that most people don’t like being robbed from.

Paganism encompasses “nature-based belief systems” because it is Latin for Paganus, which means “country-dweller” because of the strong connotation that the person who lives in the country participate in folk/indigenous beliefs. This includes all indigenous faiths, folk religions, etc. These faiths didn’t start out in Europe and then spread everywhere else. They are from all over the world and should reflect that. Especially since Whitewashed versions of these faiths are simply not as legitimate. For example, I would not practice with a White person claiming to be a Voodun priest/ess, a loa, unless they had sincere and extreme in-depth knowledge about Blackness as a culture and an identity, pan-African history, the fact that it was their ancestors who caused the grief and turmoil that created some of these faiths (and not regard it as a good thing), etc etc. Oh, and was deeply involved in the Black community, even to their own detriment (meaning, giving up or rejecting their White privilege at every twist and turn). White folks like that are so few and far between, it’s probably easier to say they probably don’t exist except for nanoseconds at a time. Because it is a mindset, and very self-aware one. While the faith can have room for all, you have to acknowledge invaders and colonizers*. I’ve yet to meet a White person that practices with Voodun deities who knew more than five Black people. The face of indigenous and nature-based faiths should reflect that. But it doesn’t.

I have written about the White-washed Yemaya statue, for example. And my experiences at Pagan events.

This incessant racism also dribbles down to the books, you’re hard pressed to find diversity among the diversity of subjects. Especially Llewellyn, which, I should remind, legit sent me their book about the creator of Llewellyn and somehow deliriously thought it would get any glimmer of a good review from me. Apparently the dude was supposed to be a Champion of Justice just because he had one (1) Black friend and held some Uncle Tom/White Man Burden sector of the NAACP (who has not had a glowing repertoire when it comes to dealing with “well meaning Whiteness” (read: Rachel Dolezal) nor always being for Black folks (read: dismissiveness of Black Lives Matter)). For all the wonders this Random White Guy did(n’t) do, somehow, that glory for racial equality never made it into his publishing house in how he hired or who he published. Making whatever nonsense acts he did maintaining one Negro associate and shelling out money to a Black advocacy group with a checkered scorecard pretty much phony – just like him.

The problem is also that means there are few, decent researched books about Paganism. I always recommended Lauren Manoy’s Where to Park your Broomstick because it’s a good beginner book in general and she acknowledges that prejudice exists. She a White writer but at least she’s not a stupid one, hence why I always recommend her. Can’t say the same for most of the others I come across. New Agey books are really a disservice to those who actually want to learn and gain info. Not feel like they’re doing something because they burnt a stick of sage, wear Killstar or procured a drug habit. Paganism is a lot more than acting out The Craft or American Horror Story.

But in terms of books of culture-centered practices, it’s even harder to come by. For example, because of the pop “bruja/witch” phase, it’s going to be very hard finding reputable sources in Santeria because so many are going to be whitewashed and probably by people who have only know three words of Spanish, if even that. Add in the fact a lot of these cultures are not always in English and tend to be oral traditions, that multiplies difficulties.

I’ve made do with simply researching from an academic stance and mainly, if not only, selecting non-White (and preferably female) researchers. That has probably been the best way I have learned. They have bibliographies, they are fact checked, etc. These books exist in academic libraries and even normal libraries. As far as websites go, I would very much strongly suggest to make sure you’re not getting online screed peddled as actual fact. That means knowing the difference between a fact and an opinion, when you’re getting biased information and more. This is a multi-disciplinary skill but a useful one so you don’t accidentally turn into a Hotep.

Though, have you seen the Hertep skit from The Black Lady Sketch Show? It is comedic and a buoyant display of what not to listen to:

 

* For the whiners who claim “then Black people who practice Euro-centric gods shouldn’t be there, either.” Uhhhh, Black people were forced to literally follow Euro-centric beliefs. Like, actual death held over their heads. That and it isn’t the same because of that glaring fact. No one is forcing White people to practice Hoodoo or else be brutally murdered in the worst way.

I am relatively (2-3 years) into my pagan beliefs and learning my way in this religion and community. What books should I read to help? I find that many of the books are from the perspective of a white middle class person and I cannot identify with that. I am just in search of any information to help me practice to my full capabilities and provide my family with the same knowledge and religion.

Most (if not all) books on modern Paganism are penned by middle class White people. It’s a multifold issue: publishing companies (like Llewellyn) don’t like to publish works by diverse authors because, well, they don’t want diverse authors in their ranks, to be honest. At this point, it’s fair to say it’s by design and not by accident for the book selection to look so blanche neige. Anything said otherwise is a plain excuse out of sheer laziness and desire (regardless whether it is conscious or unconscious) to keep up design.

If you want to find books about Paganism that are not written by White people, you’re going to have to look at academic resources and do more searching. It would be nice to have a nice “Paganism 101” book penned by someone not-White to show your folks but they don’t really exist or I would have seen them by now.

Firstly, I have to show an Oh My Gods! strip because this question literally made me think of that.

 

Alright, for those not in the know, Reiki is the Japanese art of healing others via energy. The dictionary says:

a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

Generally, I would link a site but the decent, informative ones are in Japanese and a blind guess of 98% of the English ones are just full of White-washed, watered-down bullsh*t.

You can manipulate energy (“ki”) to make a range of outcomes, yes. But what this dude is saying isn’t exactly one of them. Here we have another tale of a crush wondering why the person they like isn’t head over heels mad for them. And it’s always because of meddling outsiders like friends and family. Gotta be magick, there’s no other explanation. Not even “They’re just plain not into you”.

She’s not that into you, bro.

I’m in need of some advice even a hint, I want to know how I could use witchcraft to find people/or lost items, I figured using a Pendulum and placing it down on a map, like a Ouija board, but I’m not quite sure how to go about doing that. I appreciate your time.

I am in need of a love spell to be cast. I can explain you my current situation. It would be really nice of you, if you can help me out in my situation by suggestion, the best suitable solution.
Actually, I have a very good friend of mine. His name is [Person]. He sees me and care for me as a good friend. But recently I deeply fell in love with him. His marriage is recently fixed, on [Date] (that’s very short span of time)
I just want to know, if we both can be together in nearby future, does he have feelings for me, or can I make him love me and propose to me at the earliest. It would really helpful, if he postpones his marriage for few months at least and thinks about his feelings for me and proposes me instead.

Any kind of guidance/ suggestion from you will be very helpful.
It will be really nice of you, If you can do an initial reading to check if my friend can fall in love with me/ does he love me, it will be really helpful.

Here’s the thing when I skim my emails: the second I see “I need a ___ spell cast”, I am immediately tossed into a bad mood. Especially if the _____ is a love spell.

Because I have said on this site time and time again my stance on casting for others (I don’t), love spells (don’t bother with them) and when people ask me to pretty much interrupt the free will of others (controlling is a form of abuse, you don’t love this person, it’s more about you than your relationship). And I’m not a Magic 8 ball so when people ask me divination questions, I bristle at that, too.

So you think you got friend-zoned (which isn’t really a real place but for brevity, let’s use the term) because, I take it, you didn’t say anything about your actual feelings back when you could have thrown your pitch. You’re free to tell the guy you have feelings for them, just to get it off your chest, but here’s the thing though:

A) the dude is about to get married (yes, there is the issue of arranged marriages but that’s not what we’re talking about at the moment)

B ) The dude sees you as a friend, not someone to date. Yay, friendship. Take that as something good and move on because he is very, very soon to be off the market – actually, he’s off the market now. Because he’s about to get married

C) Don’t hold your breath, you can easily wind up in a situation where you find out the dude never shared the same feelings as you. Don’t try to sabotage the marriage, get in the way of the marriage or anything that is meddling. Even if the marriage starts to turn sour, that’s not your moment to go in for the kill. Be there as a friend but don’t be there as a friend with ulterior motives. Because that’s not being a friend, that’s being a conniving person. Does it hurt? Yes. But it is what it is.

D ) Even if he did fall in love with you – how can we forget the actual wife-to-be? Cheating is a douchebag thing to do, divorces are tricky. Nothing has an easy route out. The dude is planted, and there are other people (innocent people, the wife-to-be didn’t ask for any of this, either) connected so this issue is pretty much done for unless the dude gets a divorce and is, therefore, back on the market.

Also, there’s the “recently fell in love” part, meaning this isn’t exactly a slow burn thing but could be one-sided love. All in all, it sounds pretty selfish to want to uproot someone else’s life because it doesn’t fall in line with what you want. Love doesn’t work that way.

Not easy to hear but just date other guys.

 

Is it possible to bring my friend back to life? If so can you do it for me or tell me how to do it? If not thank you for your time.

Again, a spell request. In the world of magick, it is a good saying “It may be improbable, but not impossible.” But bringing someone back is a big and really, really, really, really, really advanced task. Not for noobs. Those difficulties aside, there’s also the ethics which are blithely ignored. The person won’t be back to their same old selves, they would be changed.

Death is sad but it’s better to find a better way to cope.

Yay, military speak, because that always makes me, a strongly anti-war person, happy. No shade on the Marines but that could have been left off.

I mention books all over my website, this question could have literally answered itself with a skim of the search bar I have up top. I am also a writer of fiction but even I get a little odd when I see “I need to write this book” as if there is some divine force leading them. Probably because I worked in one of the Incoming divisions at the Library of Congress, where I saw many, many crappy books by people “compelled” to write that I can’t help but to go “oh, great, another one.”

And I have rarely seen good works that focus on witchcraft, especially by folks who know jack all about it. I’ve come across stuff that just sounds over-technical, hard science re-imagined as magick, dull or chock full of gender tropes. Besides, fantasy is supposed to be whatever the writer wants, anyways.

Long story short, this question could have answered itself with a search bar.

What will happen if I write a desire I have on a piece of paper burn it with lemon grass and put the ashes in a shot glass and holy water, and drink it?

Everyone, if you have to ask this kind of question, then maybe dabbling is a thing you should not be doing. I replied to this kid to check their research – because if you’re going to do magick, you better do research. I’m not a Spellwork Hotline.

 

Biggest Question: can I use these arts or have someone do special rituals to help me get through college exams. I am not sure how much merit there is for using Black Magic or White Magic, but how powerful is is up to question. 

I am honestly skeptical of the practice. All the books dealing with spells seem like a lot of self talk. Like you do a ritual and something is supposed to happen? I did, nothing occurred. You have to meditate for a ritual. Nothing occurred. I lighted a candle. Followed rules. I felt empty. Nothing happened. This was to get some success in school. I was dealing with some entities that were supposed to be your guides. The main issue is: Goodness, I hate school. Classes in college are hard. I almost wish something could give me super human powers to understand what I read and study, make it enjoyable, and not make me feel restless, or unfocused. This article you made on mental health makes so much sense. I get so frustrated about school and life and this feels to be the cause my biggest problems. Learned helplessness. Plus Frustration, turning into broody self pity and despair that nothing ever changes. Yet, I hate how my circumstances just do not change no matter how much effort. Everything is so slow and take so much time. Goodness, does the universe want me at all. I honestly rebel against the thought of being nothing, and fight back to make my dreams of an education and to a dream school come true. That is how I feel on the Inside. I desire with my soul empowerment transcending beyond physical limitations of this life.

There was a lot written here. The question, in a nutshell: “Can I do witchcraft to pass college? It does me a mischief.”

Try studying, it isn’t fun but it works. Visit the counselling center (assuming it doesn’t suck, some do) or talk to someone about the stress university causes you.

Here’s the kit and kaboodle – I’m quite a meritocrat so it should be obvious my next words:

College is supposed to be hard, intellectually. That’s why it is college. If college is not for you, build a plan and go an alternate route. This is, of course, assuming the actual problem is “the course work is hard” and not “I deal with prejudice in college.” The former I have limited sympathy for – again, it’s college, not pre-school – the latter is an actual issue that every university in the US blithely ignore as long as it doesn’t land them on the cover of the New York Times for longer than two days in a row.

Here’s the thing, if you’re having depression about college – because what you describe sounds like depression – then you should get help for that. Ask if your college has resources for dealing with a frustrating courseload such as tutors, competent people to talk to (note the word “competent”, most college mental health professionals just plain aren’t that) and groups on campus of people you can possibly relate to vent your frustrations.

Magick isn’t a smart route here because dabbling gets you nowhere – and doing proper magick requires courseload-sized reading and research. That’s just adding more onto your plate in the attempt to take a short cut.

Instead of candles, try actually talking to someone. Use resources available to you and think about what you actually want to do with your life.

 

Hi I would like to know what it means when someone uses a statue belonging to the person with intentions on putting a spell on them.

 My story: Two months ago I threw away my Decolletage because it fell off of the shelf twice mysteriously and broke at the bottom. The next day my husband took the garbage out and said, “You put the garbage in the wrong container”. I didn’t think anything about the statue because it was broken and it never crossed my mind that my husband would use it against me. But, something tells me that he did just that.

As an outsider looking in, it doesn’t really look like much from here. While hunches are nice, they can lead you into some wild goose chases sometimes.
If the hubby:
– does not have a background in magick/occultism
– does not have a “I don’t get mad, I get even” temperament
– does not treat you like you are his property, treats you like a human instead
Then it’s a good chance that nothing that level of nefarious is happening. However, it does show that maybe you should have a heart to heart with him about things that are bugging you in the relationship – because it is evident that something is amiss for you to think your husband is hexing you secretly. You don’t have to say “I think you were gonna put a fix on my decolletage” but you could say something like, “I just am having issues trusting you, because I feel like ….” and go from there.
If you’re thinking “that’s gonna incite World War Three” then maybe you should either A) Really have the talk because communication is crucial in a relationship or B) Consider leaving because things are only going to get worse from here.

I feel I am cursed because I have health issues no doctor knows what to do and I am always tired. I have had health issues for 7 years now that no one can solve. I have been to so many doctors with no hope of an answer and I always get a new unsolvable health issue almost monthly. I have had an almost strong pull telling me I am cursed for 7 years. I am never happy always hiding sadness and it seems like everything I do takes me one step back. I am always being haunted by the paranormal(mostly bad spirits). Is any of this a sign of a curse?

If you count “Depression”, then yes. It sounds like a Depression Screening is what you need. Unless the doctors you went to were also psychologists/psychiatrists (which are different kind of doctors), that should have been noted. Depression can cause psychosomatic effects such as lower resistance to colds, back aches, etc, etc. Or it can be the starting ground for an unrelated health issue (Ex: having poor health due to poor/reduced diet stemming from depressive episodes).

 

I know this may sound dumb but what type of witch practices necromancy? Is there a name for someone like that other than necromancer?

Nope. Nope. And do what I’m about to do below: Research. (Because that’s pretty much 85% of Paganism.)

With a quick trip through the world wide web, Ankou is a Celtic death collector. I don’t work with death deities or entities, because that’s fairly advanced and really easy to screw up. If you have to ask “how do I work with a Celtic grim reaper?” perhaps it’s smarter to find a not so “heavy” entity. Oh, and this dude sound obscure enough that you might want to brush up your Gaelic and Breton.

 

How would I go about cleansing an item of bad energies and such, without removing/releasing the spirit I want to keep attached? The item is a memorial cross pendant with a loved one’s ashes in it. I wear it for luck and protection and because I still need their strength, but I also work with the sick and dying and bad feelings since I’m a nurse. I feel all that bad energy is starting to collect on the pendent (making it seem tired?), but I don’t want to remove the loved one’s spirit from it along with the bad stuff. Because my mother and I still see them roaming the house out of the corner of our eyes, we feel they are still with us after all these years.

So a noob decided to dabble in magick, legit bypass really important rudimentary topics like “ethics” and go straight into “controlling others” land. It’s currently going wrong (predictably) and now the numbnut noob in question in my inbox looking for a way out of their own Very Bad Idea. As if it’s my job to bail out stupid people and save them from themselves.

Kiddo, maybe if you got rid of the “lover”, the ex will go right with them. Let’s face it, you don’t really care about the “lover”, the spell is more about you than it is about the both of you and the ex most likely cared about the person, hence why they are NOT. GOING. AWAY.

Sounds like you broke up a happy couple out of sheer selfishness and now you’re getting the back draft of your own actions. You got yourself in this mess, you get yourself out.

Late as heck but ABW is here, yay!

Hi my name is Jonte and I am reaching out to you on a very serious situation I have been dealing with for the last 3 years straight.  I am getting harassed by spirits 24/7 and I can actually feel them attaching to me.  They enter my ear and through my feet and I can actually feel something on my lower back by the tailbone area.  I also get pin pricks all over my body and if feels like they are watching me all the time.  When they latch onto me (which is often) they make noises wherever I am at and cause all types of disturbances.  I now have company staying with me and they make the noises around him also.  I really want to put a end to this and I have been searching for help so long I am getting harassed by physical people and by spirits..  It’s a phenomenon going on that some people call gang-stalking but I call it demonic harassment.  I know that witch craft is involved and I was wondering if you could maybe help me understand what might be going on?  Thanks.

With little info, I can’t tell if this is a simple medical/body problem or not. Given my experience, though, I have noticed things are usually less mystical than they originally appear. I always hear from people who say “I know witchcraft was involved” but usually it boils into nothing serious. Does it mean that folks don’t wind up haunted? No. Is it common, though? Absolutely not. And this is the second or so person I have heard use the term “gang-stalking”. “Gang Stalking” is considered a concerted effort from a group of people to ruin the target individual completely and totally – and sometimes considered an offshoot paranoia delusion by the psychological field. I could always say “this is a poltergeist just being annoying” but poltergeists don’t tend to bring real, physical people into the mix.

Another thing that tells me this is not a psychic/psionic thing because of the specifics – which make not a lot of sense: “they enter my ear and through my feet and I can actually feel something on my lower back by the tailbone area”. Reminds me of people who say they can hear the CIA through the microwaves and fillings in their teeth. Possessions and things of that nature are usually not so pointed, from what I know.

All in all, I don’t think this is a “magick” thing, and will little info, I can’t call it much else.

I feel like being a douche because I abhor these emails. Money-grubbers were never my favorite kind of people. Ever. Never heard of them or Paperless Post but since both websites are not diverse enough (I’m not into tokenization, guys. Be diverse or be honest, pick one) I officially think they suck, greatly. The letter is so bland, they name people I don’t care about and it’s so pathetic, right down to the tepid compliment.

So what I think? These folks should peddle their annoying bullsh*t elsewhere. Come back when you’re Black owned or something remotely interesting.

I have a friend, I am trying to help him. his parents are very controlling and manipulative towards him. He has a disability and his parents try to control his life because his disability. he cant have friends come over to his house and he cant leave the house to see anyone unless his parents approve of it. I recently found out he went to a lawyer with parents to supposedly help him get a disability check from the government. when he showed me the website for the lawyer, it said they dont give disability rights but they give arrangements for people to get money after the person dies and went on to say they help prove incompetency. I am really scared for my friend and really worried about him. please help me find a spell on can on his parents that will help break the control and manipulation and stop the madness that goes on inside his house hold, HELP please i need a spell to help him stop his parents

Another pandering email. Again, I abhor these. And I doubt the ambulance chasers didn’t even read anything in the Mental Health category, just blindly copied and pasted it because fake bonding. They linked the category not a particular article/post. Proof of not reading anything to me.

The article is not valuable or unique, if you have read fear-mongering articles penned by old people scared of the internet for your local news station to regurgitate, then you already read what these folks have supplied, but sans anything mean about Millennials. It’s actually an ad for the firm that looks like an article because fake Lionel Hutz up there probably is running out of poor people to rinse and fleece in California – by the way, I live in Maryland. (Also known as “On the other side of the United States of America”.)  So they bother folks like me to hopefully and blindly peddle their bullsh*t.

My own lawyer, who I would be much more inclined to recommend, thankfully isn’t this much of an attention whore.

Here’s the thing, you’re a lawyer who wants to do stuff with mentally ill folks? Here’s some tips if you don’t want a nasty email from me:

  • MUST be pro-bono work only – not interested in folks who just wanna fleece the feeble and defenseless because they want the newest Zonda or Bugatti. You actually do have to help the people. I know, the horror.
  • Doesn’t talk to me like a corporate shill -I can’t stand people like that because they don’t care about the people they serve, they just want money
  • Actually builds rapport – See prev. point
  • Don’t be White – I’m a Black blog, guess which types of lawyers I’d rather hear from? The fact you wanted old dumb coot Bernie Sanders in office isn’t good enough (if you wanted that guy, seriously never talk to me)
  • Again, MUST be pro-bono or go rinse someone else.

I wouldn’t want to be tied to these people at all. They seem terrible trash to me. Why do folks think I’m Buzzfeed or something?

What they can do for me is to screw off and stop pestering anyone else.

I wanna start this time with a sorta seasonal-style rhyme, just because:

T’was two nights after Christmas and all through the ice rink, I was skating and twirling – not too bad, but I could be way better, I think
Ice skates returned with their blades a-clatter, I checked my phone for new updates and pondered of ice cream in the flavor of cake batter
Upon the screen, as I could tell, was another random person asking for wishes to be granted, some kind of spell
They promise to pay – honestly, I thought to myself, it is always the same
I sigh and send a swift reply: I don’t do paid spellwork, can’t you read? I’m a witch not a genie. You big dummy.
But the pest didn’t like the result:
“I would not talk to me like that because I can kill you really fast so watch out who you insult”

But lo, I didn’t pout, I didn’t cry –
I simply took screenshots and contacted both his job and the FBI

Yep, I got what can offically count as a death threat because some dude wanted to be a douche. Lolz.

Everyone, I am remarkably clear about being asked for paid spellwork/pay-for-pray: I don’t do it, do not like being asked about it and will razz anyone who attempt to do so anyways. Hey, I like to line my boundries with electrified barbed wire, reduces the overall payload.

This dude is no different. Asking for three wishes? Is this Aladdin? 1001 Arabian Night? Dude, I don’t grant wishes but for this kind of behavior, I will grant miseries.

I looked into seeing who this dude is and here is the kicker:

“I am a very nice person”

Really? Really? Because nice people don’t say “I can kill you really fast so watch out who you insult.” Not-so-nice people, yes. Actual nice people, no.

This is most likely the first time I’ve gotten any semblance of a death threat – and this blog has been here for nearly 10 years. I didn’t feel scared, I actually chuckled at the absurdity of it all and just prepped this post, found his job to send them screenshots (we had a lovely phone conversation) and then buzzed the fuzz since the person is in another state, thus FBI jurisdiction, not local police.

The dude is all the way in South Dakota – roughly half of America away from me – and works a blue collar job, I am not crawling the walls in trepidation but I do want to make clear this behavior is not cool. At all. It is annoying, at minimum. At max, it is an actual threat, even if said in anger and not seriousness. I mean, if he was just futzing about, it’s on him now to convince his job and the feds that.

And this is what I end the year with. Time to play the popular Baltimore Club mix most suiting for this moment
